Kings Square isn't just a place to work or dine - it's a canvas for creativity. The precinct is home to a collection of striking public artworks that reflect Perth's cultural identity, Indigenous heritage and urban energy.

Koorden

By Rod Garlett & Richie Kuhaupt

A powerful sculptural tribute to Noongar leaders, Koorden stands as a series of tall, abstract figures in Tulbak Boodja. The work honours the First Nations representatives who gathered in Perth in 1900 and acknowledges the ecological and cultural history of the Swan Coastal Plain.

Irrational Geometrics

By Pascal Dombis & Gil Percal

Positioned along Wellington Street, this striking installation features five digitally printed glass panels, each 2.8-metres tall. Created using an organic growth algorithm, the artwork is a vibrant cascade of line-curves in randomised colours that shift and shimmer as you walk past. It’s a mesmerising fusion of digital art and architectural design that echoes the Dreamtime concept of invisible path lines across the land.

Connect (US)

By Warren Langley

Suspended above the plaza, this 110-metre-long light sculpture glows yellow by day and transforms into rich ochres and reds at night. Inspired by the Western Australian landscape, Connect (US) symbolises urban connectivity and guides pedestrian movement through the precinct like a glowing ribbon.
